A Useful Tool:
Invention in Cedar Falls

Reinventing the Holidays
Sunday, December 4, 1:00 - 4:00 pm

Victorian Home & Carriage House Museum
308 W Third Street

Does the stress of the holidays get you down? Rethink the holiday season at a participatory workshop led by Carole Yates from UNI’s Center for Energy and Environmental Education. She'll guide you through creative approaches that help you focus on what's meaningful to you. Each participant will take home a copy of Patrick McDonnell's book, The Gift of Nothing.

Then work with artist Janna Bowman to create beautiful upcycled jewelry from cast-off china. You can bring your own chipped and broken heirloom china, if you'd like to give it a new life. Keep the jewelry for yourself or give it as a gift to someone you love!

$20.00. Pre-registration required. Registration fee includes all materials.
